Directions to the Tussey Teasers (march 10-June 30)

Teaser #1 - Laurel Run Switchbacker 10K - see "Directions to the Race Site" below.

Teaser #2 - Tussey to Whipple 11 Miler - see "Directions to the Race Site" below.

Teaser #3 - Beidleheimer Sidewinder 10K - follow signs to Whipple Dam State Park via Route 26. After turning in the park driveway, take the first right.

Teaser #4 - Treaster Kettle Test-Your-Mettle 10.6 Miler - Access from SR 322. From State College, take SR 322 east, turn right onto Taylor Hill Road (shortly after Shaner ball fields), right onto Church Hill Road, right on Bubb, right on Lake Road, follow to parking lot on right (park in back of lot).

Teaser #5 - Bear Meadows Made-in-the-Shade 7.0 or 10.6 Miler – see “Directions to the Race Site” below. After arriving at Tussey, carpool with others to Bear Meadows, about 4 miles up Bear Meadows Road. Do not drive alone to Bear Meadows – there is only room for a few vehicles.

Directions to the Pre-Race Dinner/Expo & Advance Packet Pickup - Friday, Sept. 21 (5:30-7:30 p.m. )

From the west via I-80
Take exit 123 and follow Rte. 970 South for one mile. Turn left on to Rte. 322 East. Follow signs for Rte. 322 East for about 45 minutes. Exit on to Atherton Street (also marked as Business Rte. 322). The Autoport is on Atherton Street on the East side of town, left side of the street.

From the east via I-80
Take exit 161. Turn left onto Rte. 26/US-220 South. Continue on Rte. 220 South. Take the ramp toward Innovation Park/Penn State University. Follow signs toward Penn State University. Continue straight onto Park Ave. Turn left onto University Drive. Turn right on to Atherton (also marked as Business Rte. 322). The Autoport is on the right side of the street.

From the south and east via Rte. 322
State College is about one hour and forty-five minutes North of Harrisburg on Rte. 322. Take the exit marked Atherton St. or Business Rte. 322. The Autoport is on Atherton Street on the East side of town, right side of street.

Directions to the Race Site - Saturday, SepT. 22

From Harrisburg
Follow Route 322 West to Tussey Mountain Ski Area (left at blue sign); approx. 1.5 hours.

From Altoona
Pick up Rte 220 to Port Matilda to Rte 322 East to Tussey Mountain Ski Area (right at blue sign); approx. 1 hour.

From State College
Take Rte 322 East (toward Boalsburg), less than a mile south of Boalsburg to Tussey Mountain Ski Area (right at blue sign); approx. 10 minutes.

From Rt. I-80
Bellefonte Exit #161, take Rte 26 to Rte 322 East to Tussey Mountain Ski Area (right at blue sign); approx. 30 minutes.
